New And Interesting The Trisonica - Mini For those who require a miniature, lightweight, low velocity anemometer, for that small or tight location, or for use on that small drone, we now have a new Trisonica-mini. As you can see from the picture, it is quite small. That is US Quarter sitting in front of it. It has a measurement path of 35 mm and a weight of less than 40 grams. Owing to it's small size, it is a bare bones type of instrument; just wind speed, direction and sonic temperature... no extras. It is currently going through its final testing, so the specifications will be coming soon. If this is of interest for your application, visit our Trisonica Mini web page. For The Record We have a new website... If you have not had a chance to check out the Applied Technologies, Inc. website lately you should give it a try. The information is about the same, but we've made some improvements that should make it easier to use. It also works better on a mobile device. Come take a look... For those of you that tried to connect with our History Page link on our last Windwords, we apologize... It seems that page got lost in the transfer to our new website. Everything is working again and if you would like to give it another try, the link is...www.apptech.com/history Sorry for the inconvenience. Just The Facts Did you know that the ATI Sonic Anemometer is currently the only TRUE orthogonal 3D ultrasonic anemometer? All measured data are internally corrected for flow distortion. Did you know that the ATI sonic Anemometer can be synchronized for any measurement period? Did you know that you can connect multiple ATI Sonic Anemometers together, and have them all take data over the same time period? Did you know that the new ATI Sonic Anemometer does it all on a reduced power of less than 15 mA, depending on selected options? Did you know that the ATI Sonic Anemometer can output data from once per hour to 200 Hz? Did you know that the ATI Sonic Anemometer has an option for a 2D level and/or a 3D accelerometer output included at the same rate as the sonic output? Did you know that the ATI Sonic Anemometer has an option for a WiFi output so it can be connected to your wireless network? Did you know that the ATI Sonic Anemometer does not have to be returned to the factory for calibration, the operator has the ability to calibrate it at any time? If you have any questions about the ATI Sonic Anemometer, just check out our info page HERE or give us a call, or send us an email. |
For The Fun Of It! Comments from the year 1955... Did you hear the post office is thinking about charging 4 cents just to mail a letter? If they raise the minimum wage to $1.00, nobody will be able to hire outside help at the store. When I first started driving, who would have thought gas would someday cost 25 cents a gallon. I never thought I'd see the day all our kitchen appliances would be electric. They're even making electric typewriters now. I'm afraid the Volkswagen car is going to open the door to a whole lot of foreign business. The fast food restaurant is convenient for a quick meal, but I seriously doubt they will ever catch on. There is no sense going on short trips anymore, it costs nearly $2.00 a night to stay in a hotel. No one can afford to be sick anymore; at $15.00 a day in the hospital, it's too rich for my blood. If they think I'll pay 30 cents for a haircut, forget it! It's too bad things are so tough nowadays; I see where a few married women are having to work to make ends meet. It won't be long before young couples are going to have to hire someone to watch their kids so they can both work.
